Andrea Boothby Rice

Andrea Boothby Rice graduated with a BA in History from Elizabethtown College and MLIS from Drexel University.  She holds a deep devotion to accessibility, equity, and community in information services, bringing a unique perspective from her time as a Public Librarian working with special groups, like Veterans and adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities.     


Her work with the Maryland Library Associations Intellectual Freedom Panel guides her commitment to the principles of Intellectual Freedom, Censorship, and Privacy.  She is thrilled to be at Washington College and apply these principles to support students in their academic endeavors.
