I have been teaching for over 20 years--in the classroom and out!  I am a proud WAC Alum, with a degree in Biology from Washington College and a Master's in Education from Wesley College. I am a Maryland certified teacher and spent several years teaching biology, environmental science, AP biology, genetics and earth science at Queen Anne's County High School before moving outside to teach in an informal setting at Evergreen Heritage Center in Allegany County, MD.

In June of 2015, I was delighted to become the Educator Program Manager at the Center for Environment & Society at Washington College.  I spend my time working closely with K-12 educators and administrators, delivering the awesome programs to the classroom, facilitating teacher Professional Development and coordinating Environmental Literacy Plan development and implementation for our local school systems.

I love all things outdoors- exploring new streams, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, gardening and hanging out with my 2 awesome daughters, great husband & 2 cute dogs!
